Top 10 Fashion Looks of U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team

A common trend when describing the athletes of The United States Women’s National Soccer Team is struggling to find the right words that give justice to their massive impact, empowerment, and influence on the way that femininity is perceived. Gaining recognition as one of the best teams across all sports, they have been at the forefront of recreating how women pro-athletes are treated and recognized. With each member standing together on relevant issues that are meaningful to them as a team, they regularly make statements through dress that challenge traditional views of femininity and athleticism. Consistently taking risks and experimenting with untraditional silhouettes and bold color palettes, the women are fearless with their fashion. Altering expectations of women in their roles, the members of the USWNT are irrefutably courageous and powerful.

At the ESPYS, the USWNT coordinated low-cut, contemporary suiting. Often matching at events as a team, many women further coordinated their colors and styles individually on the carpet. Receiving the award for Best Team at this ceremony, the women proved it with their fashion and soccer synchronization. Christen Press and Tobin Heath were among the best couple looks of the night, choosing a vibrant color palette and stunning, deep cut suits. Challenging conventional suiting, the women experimented with silhouettes and styling of their carpet looks.
