Kelly Oubre Jr. was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. His family relocated to Richmond, Texas in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. He played his high school ball at George Bush High School in Fort Bend. He played his senior year in Nevada at the famed Findlay Prep. He caught the attention of college scouts, eventually committing to Kansas for college. After one season with the Jayhawks, he declared for the draft.
The Atlanta Hawks claimed Kelly in the first round. He was traded to the Washington Wizards without suiting up once for the Hawks. He didn't see the floor much his rookie year. In spite of his limited playing time, the league began to recognize his skills as a '3 and D' player. Kelly's range and defense turned heads. A December trade in 2018 sent Kelly to the Phoenix Suns. With the young Suns, Kelly has again turned heads. His promising future has Phoenix in prime position to contend for many years to come.
Kelly's passion for clothes shows. His outfits are daring.
