Before Ashlyn Harris was a two-time World Cup Champion, she was already a world champion, as she played every minute in the victory of the 2002 U-19 Women’s World Cup. The Cocoa Beach, Florida native, grew up playing on the boys’ club soccer teams and fiercely competing to be the best. While in high school, she won two State Titles, was the 2004 Gatorade Player of the Year and listed as the No.1 recruit in the nation. Harris signed to play collegiately at the University of North Carolina, starting in 2006, but faced many injuries throughout her four seasons there. Despite the challenges, Harris and the Tar Heels were able to make deep runs every year in the NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament, and won three Championship titles.
In 2010, Harris was selected 19th overall in the WPS Draft, to the Saint Louis Athletica. Throughout her professional career she’s been named goalkeeper of the year twice. Harris has been a member of the Orlando Pride since 2016. She’s been a member of the senior national team since 2009 and of course brought home two World Cup Championship titles in 2015 and 2019.

Alongside her wife, Ali Krieger, the pair displays a dynamic style that is very much respected. Harris states that her style is something that’s very much thought out, because she sees it as what truly represents who she is. She describes her style as “grungy, sporty-chic.” Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, and of course Thom Browne are some of her go-to designers.
