Tre Isiah Jones
Basketball is a family business for
2020 NBA Draft pick, Tre Jones. The youngest of the three Jones kids, Tre grew up in Apple Valley, Minnesota watching brothers Jadee and Tyus kill it on the court. Tre brought two State Championships to Apple Valley High and was named the Minnesota Gatorade Player of the Year in 2016 and 2018, an honor his brother, Tyus earned in 2014. The 2018 Minnesota Mr. Basketball was a five-star recruit, the national No.1 point guard prospect in his class. Soaring beyond his days as an Eagle at Apple Valley, Tre became a Blue Devil, as he selected Duke University for his college ball days.
Tre came into the program as a true freshmen, starting 36 games for the 2018-2019 AP No.1 ranked Blue Devil team. He became the first player in Duke history to record 7+ assists with no turnovers in five different games and continued to set a single-season record for assists-turnover ratio of 3.62. He was a Naismith semifinalist for Defensive Player of the year and earned ACC All-Defensive honors. Jones and the Blue Devils won Duke’s 21st ACC Tournament title and reached the Elite Eight of the 2019 NCAA Tournament. In his sophomore and final season, Jones averaged 16.2 points, 6.4 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. The team was 25-6 in their season and projected to have a deep run in the NCAA Tournament, before it was cancelled due to the pandemic. He was named the ACC Player of the Year as well as the ACC Defensive Player of the Year.
A projected first-round pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Tre Jones is already Styling Like a Pro! Enlisting the help of stylists Kesha McLeod and Erika Nunez to craft his draft night look, it’s posed to be one of most elevated and memorable styles of the 2020 Draft class. Tre describes his style as “comfortable, relaxed, and clean” and always has an emphasis on his shoe game. He states that he’s “definitely a Jordan guy,” listing the 1’s and 11’s as his favorite of the brand’s releases.
