Laila Amaria Ali
Born in Miami beach, Florida
The daughter of boxing legend, Muhammad Ali, Laila Ali didn't find her way into the ring until she was 18 years old. As her father attempted to dissuade her from the sport, Laila became dedicated to her training. Three years after her initial decision, she entered the ring for her first match. Knocking out April Fowler in that match, Laila went on to win eight matches in a row. Laila made history in 2001, along with Freida Foreman, the daughter of her father's famed opponent, George Foreman, by being the first ever main-event pay-per-view match between two women. Laila would go on to win by judge's decision.
Laila continued her dominance in the ring, retiring undefeated. The multitude of media attention Laila garnered made the transition into host and media personality an easy one. Appearing in a multitude of reality shows and hosting opportunities, Laila began establishing herself within the fashion world as well. Collaborating on a handful of clothing designs over the years, Laila is a champ at brand establishment.
