Kyle Daniel Rudolph
Born In Cincinnati, Ohio
Growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kyle Rudolph was born into humble midwest roots. But bright lights were soon revealed for the number one tight end recruit in the nation. Kyle's Irish roots and childhood favorite movie, 'Rudy' made attending the University of Notre Dame an easy decision. His 6-foot-6 inch frame and endearing personality, Kyle's nickname is "Gentle Giant". Crushing University records, such as the 2nd longest pass play in school history, he left Notre Dame with an admirable draft stock.
As the 43rd pick in the 2011 NFL draft, Rudolph became the highest selected tight end by the Minnesota Vikings since 1964. Two Pro Bowl appearances and 3,000 receiving yards later, Rudolph remains a crucial catch for the Vikings.
- Kyle and his wife Jordan have identical twin daughters and announced their pregnancy by throwing out the first pitch at the Twins game
- Every holiday season, Rudolph lights the way for a trip to the “North Pole” for the kids at the University of Minnesota Masonic children’s hospital
- Dunkin’ on em! Kyle played center in high school and still holds the record for 2nd most points scored in school history!
