Jordan Taylor Clarkson
Jordan Clarkson was born in Tampa, Florida. His family moved to San Antonio, Texas when he was six. Jordan played his high school ball at Karen Wagner High School in Texas. Before his senior year he committed to the University of Tulsa. After his senior year, he was named San Antonio High School Player of the Year. After two stellar years at Tulsa, Jordan transferred to Missouri. He sat out the 2012-13 season due to NBA rules. He redshirted his junior year. He earned three Southeastern Conference Player of the Week, rising in draft projections. He declared for the 2014 NBA Draft.
Jordan was picked by the Washington Wizards in the second round. He was traded on draft night to the Los Angeles Lakers. He spent the first half of the season in the D-League. By the end of his rookie year, he'd started 38 games for the Lakers. He ended the year by making the NBA All-Rookie First Team. In the middle of the 2018 season he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He went to the NBA Finals that year, only to lose to the Golden State Warriors.
