Ezekiel Elijah Elliott
Born in St. Louis, Missouri
Born into a strong bloodline of athletes in St. Louis, Missouri, Ezekiel Elliott rushed into early success on the gridiron. Beyond his accomplishments on the football field, Elliott made speedy marks on the track and was named ‘Gatorade Track Athlete of the Year’. As a true freshmen at the Ohio State, Elliott took snaps behind future NFLer Carlos Hyde. Winning the first ever College Football Playoff National Championship with Ohio State in 2014 would prove to be foreshadowing for continued success for Elliott. Not only was he the game MVP with 246 yards and four touchdowns but the game took place in what would be Elliott’s new home, AT&T Stadium.
As the first running back off the board in the 2016 NFL draft, Elliott was drafted fourth overall by the Dallas Cowboys. Despite two veteran running backs already on the roster, Elliott won the starting spot his rookie season. Finishing the season with over 1,000 rushing yards, Elliott also was selected to his first Pro Bowl. Alongside his quarterback, Dak Prescott, the two were first rookie quarterback, running back duo to be selected to the Pro Bowl.
- Records! Ezekiel Elliott holds the record at the Ohio State for 2nd most rushing yards, only behind the great Archie Griffin.
- Hero of the half-shirt! Ezekiel’s infamous crop top trend may have garnished national attention at the Ohio State University, but he actually started wearing his jerseys in such a fashion in high school!
- Draft night statement! Opting to sport a cropped button down at the NFL draft red carpet was a spur of the moment decision. Elliott pinned the shirt to reveal his abdominals in the car on the way over to the carpet.
- Stay Hungry! Elliott’s personal fashion line centers around this statement and design.
