DeAndre Rashaun Hopkins
Troubling times from a young age for Deandre Hopkins' family instilled grounded and hardworking values for 'Nuk'. The central South Carolina native excelled in three sports in high school. Eventually sticking to the gridiron path, DeAndre chose to keep his talents local at Clemson University. As a true freshmen for the Tigers, DeAndre was the team's leading receiver. Three seasons at Clemson made Hopkins a household name and earned him an invitation to the NFL Combine. The second receiver off the draft board, the Houston Texans selected DeAndre with the 27th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Despite inconsistent quarterback play during his first four seasons in the league, he proved to be an electric talent on the field. Continuing to be the No.1 receiver for the Texans, Hopkins was united with fellow Clemson alum, quarterback Deshaun Watson in 2017. Tiger targets proved to be a great thing for DeAndre, as he ended the season as the league's leader in receiving touchdowns. Now with three Pro-Bowl nominations, Hopkins continues to be a dynamic deep threat in the league.
