July 29, 2021

After a season that was delayed because of the pandemic, the NBA Draft is finally upon us. We will get to see the dreams of our future NBA stars come true tonight and the biggest spotlight is on the Detroit Pistons.

All You Need To Know:

It was already announced this morning that Cade Cunningham of Oklahoma State(19) will be taken with the No. 1 pick tonight. Cunningham was an All-American at OSU this season and arguably the best player in college basketball this season. This has been a big week for him after meeting with the Pistons and inking a sneaker deal with Nike, which he wore in college. Some of the other elite players who will hear their names called early tonight will be Gonzaga’s Jalen Suggs, Evan Mobley of USC, and Jalen Green from the G-League. Also, look for teams like the Thunder and Rockets who both have 3 first-round picks to make some big moves. The Rockets have the 2nd pick after finishing with the league’s worst record this season. The Thunder also have 3 picks inside the top 20 and have been linked to various trade situations with their surplus of 6 total picks in the first 2 rounds.

So when is the NBA Draft and where can you watch it?
Tonight’s draft coverage will start at 8 p.m. EST, on ESPN with first-round coverage also on ABC for the
